English language challenges
I think that blogging has been a good experience, somehow you feel a little more forced to express personal or everyday things to be able to communicate and not so much to be able to ask things or have structured conversations.
Overall, it hasn't been a bad experience.
I think I have a lot of things to improve with respect to learning and practicing the language, I feel that it is much easier for me to understand English by listening to it and reading it than speaking it on my own, I think this is something that must happen to many people.
I might need to find myself in forced situations where I have to speak English out of necessity, like on a trip for example, where I would need to speak the language to communicate from the simplest to the most complex.
Outside of classes I try to surround myself with situations with the English language whenever I can, so that I am constantly receiving stimuli and some of the ways I do it are for example, listening to music in English trying to understand the lyrics and singing them haha, I also watch movies and series in their original languages, very eventually I watch something in English with English subtitles as well, sometimes it gives good results.
The truth is that I would love to be able to polish my language learning by traveling to a country where it is their official language, like being in times square and doing normal things speaking in the language, go shopping at the market, ask the time to a stranger in the street or ask for directions.
I agree with you, it is much easier to understand English by listening and reading
